success papers

Do you think you know how to pass exams and achieve its true potential for success in exams? From the experiences of thousands of marking examination papers, and the session more than I care to remember, I've noticed that few people really know how to pass exams and achieve the success of the tests they are capable. I've seen a lot of students do all the same mistakes I did, and invent a few that never occurred to me!
Errors are avoidable if you know them in advance and prepare well.
Sometimes it seems as if people are waiting, as if by magic, to know how to approach the review and examination techniques. They are taught to his subjects: Mathematics, English, history, science or whatever, but no time to review, how to review, how prepare for tests or what techniques to use in exams. Often students are given some tips or examination guidelines for achieving successful examination. Hard work and will simply not cut it! Work hard to do what?
Yet, reviews of such influence in our lives, and so important placed in them! Exams permeate our lives: at school, college or university. At work, and sometimes even in our hobbies and pass times! Success in tests can be like a magic potion to enter college or university, or luring employers to take you or give you a promotion.
That something as important as exams should be left to chance is amazing, and certainly not a good idea! Do not leave your future opportunity to learn what to do.
As an experienced author, teacher and examiner can give him some help learning how to achieve success in the exam. I've been through a lot of testing myself in school, college, through the Open University and also through other distance learning courses. My last two results were the two distinctions, but in the school had little idea of how I should review, or close to exams!
Start by reading these review boards down and think about how compared to what you do, or are planning to do, look at the resources below a much broader advice on revision and exam technique.
Much before the exam:
- If you are struggling with their study to their teacher immediately.
- Know what the format of the examination be.
- Get copies of past and / or examination of sample documents as soon as possible.
- Check what the tools used in its review and learn to use them.
- If you have any special needs to follow the advice to make arrangements for them.
In the along its course:
- Start your review as soon as possible. Read around your subject. Periodically review and test themselves same periodically. Use a calendar for review.
- Review the topics that are less interested in at least as much as you want.
- Review in an atmosphere conducive to study.
- Compile summaries of review and use to help you answer the test questions.
- Reply questions with practice, and then without his notes, then time.
- Take an active approach to learning. Use whatever memory tricks work for you.
- Many short sessions are much better marathon of the few! Research shows that about 40-45 minutes is optimal, then of which you should take a break before starting the next session.
When you need the motivation:
- Remember why you're doing their exams and that their study does not last forever.
- Keep a record of the review to do, when you need cheering up.
The specific types of tests:
- If allowed to have the texts in the exam (open book) become familiar with them before the test.
- Use a "whitewash" strategy in answering choice questions Multiple responses cover and after reading the question. Thus, if you know the answer, will have no alternatives there to confuse you!
- Answers to short-answer questions should be brief and concise.
- Essays should be a continuous piece of prose, with an introduction, body and conclusion.
- Show your reasoning and performance problems and when doing calculations.
- If you are taking a practical test to know exactly what is going to evaluate and how. Practice your skills with the aim of becoming as efficient as possible.
- Prepare the structure and content of oral presentations carefully. Practice conversations and be aware of how long it will take.
Just before the test:
- Prepare you need to be considered in advance.
- Knowing exactly when and where will the exams.
- Get a good night's sleep before examination.
On examination:
- Read the review document carefully and answer the questions.
- Answer the correct number of questions: this is essential.
After the test:
- Do not worry about what is done.
- If you are satisfied with the results – Congratulations!
- If things went as expected to remember which is not the end of the world! Decide the importance of this review is really for you and your future. If you have to repeat then try to work out how you can improve next time.
With best wishes for success in exams!
