An efficient way to improve your social life?

Hey, I'm a girl who is looking for an effective way to improve my social life (increased my success with women, peer influence, etc) but I am also very open to change my mind and my inner self. I am looking for a self-help work that has a aggressive (a Machiavellian approach) to improve my life and my general. I know some say "be yourself" but I realized that this strategy does not work, since being myself was what got me into my current status. I have been recommended a book on Yahoo Answers about this, but this book after reading it is rather a general guideline, really need a specific book that I would help achieve social success. Thank you.

Law Attraction has roots in Quantum Physics. [7] According to proponents of this law, thoughts have an energy that attracts whatever the person is thinking. [2] In order to control this energy to your advantage, proponents state that people must practice four things: [8] 1. Know what you want. 2. Ask the universe for her. 3. Feel, and how to behave as if the object of your desire is on its way. 4. Be open to receive and let go of (the union) of the results. Thinking what one has, say, manifests itself in not having, while if one adheres to these principles, and avoids "negative" thoughts, the universe manifests a person wants. [8] The skeptical critique Inquirer magazine criticized the lack of falsifiability and testability of these claims [9]. The anecdotal evidence is usually provided and because self-selecting nature of positive reports as well as the subjective nature of the results, highly susceptible to confirmation bias and selection bias. [10] References to modern scientific theory are questionable. Brain waves are electrical signal and some [who?] Believe that the physical principles Quantum does not always act the way that some proponents of the law of attraction have been described. [5] Writing in The New York, Virginia Heffernan, said: "" The Secret "is not really a book, but a series of misquotation of the greatest historical figures and not having" fraudulently vendors. And yet, something that the sticky wax seal of red on the front of "The Secret" and the magic glitter in the book think, brings me to a happy place. "The undiscovered hiterho" Secret ", is actually a mixture of misunderstanding Quantam physics and a new revelation of the" New Thought "fallacies that have existed since the late 18th century [11]. The term "law metaphysics" has also been criticized. Some [who?] Are fundamental references of the term and to quantum physics to bridge any unexplained or seemingly implausible effects are hallmarks of modern pseudoscience. Proponents of the law of attraction however, that the nature of the "law" is not a scientific validation, and the law the word "has the same weight belief based on non-scientific" laws "of other religions, such as the 'Law of Karma" and the Ten Commandments. Scientists never unaminous in their views of the majority of the areas of interest either political science, economics, history, religious science or metaphysics or spiritual science. [Citation needed] However, the scope and coverage application of science is widening with the objective and sincere minds open study. [Citation needed] The principles of the law of attraction have also been interpreted in the context of medicine and disease. In 1990, Bernie Siegel (a former assistant clinical professor of surgery at Yale University) published a popular book, Love, Medicine and Miracles, which said the threat of disease was related to a person's imagination, will and belief. [10] Siegel primarily advocated "love" as the source of healing and longevity by saying that "if you want to be immortal, one love." [12] [13] Some argue that this request is clearly falsified by the eventual death of all known human beings, despite the propensity of many to love. however, people have been discovered immortal lover. Siegel description As has been widely rejected by the medical community [14]. The most notable critic and professor at Stanford neuroendocrinologist Robert Sapolsky, who devoted an entire chapter in his book Why Zebras Do not have to criticize Siegel ulcer. Sapolsky regards Siegel general idea as "gibberish benign" but is highly critical of what he sees as blaming the patients of their disease, based solely on questionable anecdotal evidence [15]. Sapolsky sums up his criticism main as follows: When the problems become terribly serious is when Siegel focuses on the main point of his book. No matter how many times they put on waivers saying it is trying to make people feel guilty, the book's premise is that (a) the cancer can be caused by psychosocial factors in the person, (b) cancer (or any other disease, as far as I can tell) is curable if the patient has enough courage, love and spirit, (c) if the patient is not cured, it is because insufficient quantities of admirable traits. As we have seen, this is not how the cancer, and a doctor should not be to simply tell people seriously otherwise ill [15].
